Bore Street Bakery Lichfield Review
Bore Street Bakery
64/100 Working From Coffee Shops Score
Don’t let the score put you off, Bore Street Bakery is the best bakery in Lichfield with even better coffee. Is it suitable to work from? Maybe a few emails or some note taking…
Seating & Tables
5/10
If you are lucky to grab one, then the seating is great. This is arguably the most popular shop in Lichfield on a weekend, with queues 30/40 long for the best bread in town. As for working, it is quite a tight squeeze, with only 4 regular tables available it’s ‘cosy’.
Noise
8/10
Always a chilled out playlist with the usual hustle and bustle of a popular coffee shop.
Wifi
9/10
Free Wifi, quick and easy to log on and no need to fill out an online from each time as it will remember your device.
Coffee
10/10
Coffee is very very good. With the best coffee cups to snap on your Instagram stories to show people how edgy you are.
Plug sockets
2/10
Minimal to no plug sockets available, so you will need to be fully charged prior to your visit.
Networking
5/10
This location is more of a grab and go, or sit in the corner to have a quite half hour to yourself.
Food & Other Drink
9/10
Pastries, ciabatta’s, and toast (of course, it’s a bakery). Amazing bread which is all made in house, so you can imagine the smell of the place!
Parking
3/10
Like many of the other central coffee shops, parking isn’t on the door step. There is a pay and display carpark about 400 metres away, or you can park for free for 3 hours on Tesco which is about a mile walk.
Paws & People
8/10
Dog friendly, but as mentioned, it’s not the largest venue so people with dogs and prams tend to grab a coffee to go and vacate. As per, the lovely people of Lichfield, so no agro!
Opening Hours
6/10
Only open 4 days a week, Wednesday - Saturday, 9am - 3pm.
